Musician/Singer Songwriter/Producer

Bervin Harris is an accomplished musician, singer, songwriter, vocal coach, and producer who has worked with celebrated artists, including Mary J Blige, Eddie Murphy, New Kids on The Block, Michael Urbaniak, Herbie Hancock, KRS-One, Freda Payne, Howard Hewett, and many others.

Bervin Harris released his first single “The Choice Was Mine” in 1990 followed by his album, “In the Mood,” which was released by Capitol Records. Shortly after, Mr. Harris went on to tour with artists like Tony Toni Tone, Lisette Melendez, Lisa Lisa, Corina, which then went on to produce for artists like KRS-1, Marc Nelson, Mary J Blige, and others. Mr. Harris went on to write, produce and direct stage plays, concerts, and videos. 

Bervin Harris is currently President/CEO and Co-Founder of a youth program that has a strong music program Renaissance Youth Center (www.renaissanceyouth.org) located in the Bronx NY. While overseeing the vision and development of the organization, Mr. Harris also manages, writes, and directs the Music With A Message youth band. This group averages 100 shows a year (www.musicwam.org).
